ALIVE AND WELL came about one day when Jerry Granelli first called Don Palmer to talk about music. They quickly discovered that, along with bass player Skip Beckwith, they shared decades of a common background, experience and perspective. They immediately arranged to play a concert together in Halifax, and in April of 1988 ALIVE AND WELL was born. Their CD In Concert, recorded in December 1991, is a live reflection of the band's efforts since the inception.
